The Center for Effective Nonprofits (CEN) was launched in 2005 to promote excellence within nonprofit organizations in west central Illinois and northeast Missouri.  It was founded through the collaborative efforts of QuincyUniversity, Tracy Family Foundation, Community Foundation of the Quincy Area, JohnWoodCommunity College, United Way of AdamsCounty, and University of Illinois Extension.  These agencies submitted and received a grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.  CEN provides current information in changing times.  Those who will benefit from our services include executive directors, staff, volunteers, and board members of nonprofit organizations.
