Quincy Humane Society Fund

Quincy Humane Society was incorporated on July 20, 1880 and today is commended as one of the oldest continually operating humane organizations in the United States. Their programs include adoptions, humane education, humane investigation and low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination programs.

Quincy Humane Society began a fund with the Community Foundation to assist in educating the community about their organization and the programs they provide. Even though their focus is primarily on animal welfare, their programs also assist pet owners in need. By providing affordable spay/neuter and vaccination services, they are helping to make our community safer and reducing tax dollar expenses for animal control services.
